  1. It would be great if you can set another color to certain events than that of the calendar.

  2. For a newby who just wants to escape the Microsoft world... can you please post an article that clearly describes the benefits of Fruux compared to Office 365 (and maybe other standard calendar sharing services). Can I replace the Office 365 calendars in a team environment?

  3. 2Do for Mac/IOS has a Fruux option. On my Android version it seems only Dropbox and Toodledo are supported. My preference is Fruux. This I would think have more to do with the 2Do developer but I don’t understand why not Fruux on Android. I don’t like being pushed into Dropbox.

  5. A simple dowload of all information stored. The .ics, .vcf and .ics task files in one .zip file. This would permit users to have a clear and easy interface for creating a backup of data/account information.
    Many thanks.

  6. Increase the total of supported devices to a more convenient number in the basic plan. Maybe three will be good.

  7. I'm seeing that green option bar and notice that deals with most of the workspace so i think:
Why not put this bar in one side of the workspace instead of the top.
More workspace and a lot cleaner, especially for the small screens.

  8. I imagine this is not trivial, but it could save bandwith and cpu time if on webcal:// urls you delivered the http header etag. There are apps (icsdroid or thunderbird lightning) that seem to respect that and send you the If-None-Match header. You could reply with status 304 if there is no update...

  9. So, Zapier is awesome, and it would be great if there was an integration between you guys. Thanks for considering.

  10. A search function for events in the list view would be very useful. There are two main use cases for this:

    1) Let's say I cannot remember when exactly a certain event happened or is planned,e.g. "Appointment at the garage to check car". With a search feature, one would just type "car" in the search box and all events with the keyword "car" are displayed in the events list.

    2) I have an event which reoccurs on a not so regular basis, e.g. "Concert with my choir". So I could type "choir" and would get a list of all event…

  11. I would like to import everthing from my Google Calendar to Fruux. While syncing with Google is currently very demanded topic, I think integrating "import tool" would be easier and I would want it more. :)

    Thanks,
    Aimar

  12. As a user I want to be able to add subscriptions to other public calendars from the webapp,
so that you can bundle all your calendars in frux and distribute it easily to the devices

    e.g: http://xy.com/x/y/sfdskjf.ics

  17. In thunderbird/lightning, it is possible to define a reminder for each task, but this feature is not supported by fruux and on my android phone task reminders are missing.

Event reminders works fine, so can you add them on tasks ?

    Thank you.

  18. The Fruux web interface is really great! I want to use it more but find that I have to log in on a regular basis since the login session is very short.

I'd like the option to have a longer session (2 weeks?) if I choose to 'keep me logged in' on a trusted device.

    Thanks!

  19. The ability to drag and drop calendar events would be very useful. This is something I made use of daily with my previous provider.

  20. ....meaning that fruux can be configured to function itself as a device vis-a-vis other sync services (e.g. OwnCloud).
This would allow the user to (a) have copies of his contacts and calendars on two different platforms of his/her choice for back-up purposes and (b) choose for every device with which of the two services and the corresponding settings he/she wants to sync any given device.
The advantage would be (a) a permanent backup and (b) more degrees of freedom for the syncing setup with other devices and/or individuals.

That is actually planned. We already support it for Google Contacts, but we also plan to support generic CardDAV/CalDAV “client-mode” in the future.
