allow payment with paypal or mastercard..we are in 2017...
1 voteWe already support Mastercard since a really long time. We supported PayPal in the past, but do no longer because their API is an abomination, their developer docs are always outdated and we don’t agree with how they do business (e.g. see “Criticism” section on the PayPal Wikipedia article).

Calender colors
Please give us more colors to the calenders.
1 voteWe already support every possible color you can think of, you just have to set up a calendar client (i.e. iCal) and change the color there. The web app will support it to, it just does not allow setting colors beyond our basic color palette.

Fix the typo on your front (sales) page.
"Contatcs"
1 voteFixed. Thanks for reporting.

correct the grammar
The phrase 'Now it's your friends turn.' should read "Now it's your friend's turn."
1 voteIndeed (https://twitter.com/iowahawkblog/status/594168269759623168)! :-)
Thanks! Will be fixed with our next deploy.

Event Invitations
It would be great if you could invite guests to events created in these calendars from iOS and OSX.
1 voteWe already support that e.g. on OSX. iOS uses a different method to do that, which we hope to support soon, too.

Add a task/todo-list web app
I highly appreciate the function to edit the contacts online. Therefore I like to have a analog function for tasks.
The link
https://fruux.uservoice.com/forums/153774-general/suggestions/2830402-add-calendar-and-addressbook-web-application-at-fr
is only about adressbook, but not tasks.1 voteOur todo webapp was released a while ago:

Import Contacts and Calendar Entries
I am hoping to rid myself of my Google account. Contacts and Calendar is easily exported but I cannot see how to import my data into your service.
Off topic: I like the concept of your service and am willing to pay for it but 40 euros is way too much.
1 voteThe “Import” button has been added.
It’s in the bottom left of all three apps (contacts, calendars and tasks). -

There is no real uninstall process, because fruux doesn’t need any software on your system.
It’s more or less like an email account. Just delete the account in your address book or calendar application and thats it.

implement Groups in the address book
Apple's Address book uses Groups to manage a lis of addresses. A similar feature would be very useful - and even better if you could work out how to import addresses from the Apple address book including groups.
1 voteThese features already exist! :)
We support addressbook groups since day 1.
Import of existing addressbook groups is supported since August, see:
http://blog.fruux.com/2012/08/03/calendar-sharing-with-fruux-proYou just have to “check” the checkbox “Import Apple Address book Groups” in our webapp when importing your .vcf file.

complete PIM sync
my dream is a complete sync tool incl. calendar, contacts, tasks and notes. I know it's difficult but that would make my day. Outlook and a lot of mobile phones offer this, but most of newer tools fail. Try to compete with memotoo or funambol, you have a chance.

Other Cloud services?
Would it be possible to use another Cloud Service?
Don't want to give AWS or Google all my data....
1 voteWe’re constantly monitoring the market for other feasible options and would definitely consider moving if an option comes up that makes more sense.
Security, uptime, reliability and privacy are critically important factors for us, so we have to run our infrastructure with very good partners, which we believe AWS is. AWS participates in the Safe Harbor program developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Union and has certified, that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles agreed upon by the U.S. and the European Union.
Also check this video by AWS to get a feeling for how important these aspects are for them:

Develop fruux as a Synology app?
Hi Fruux,
very good idea your syncing services.
Wouldn't it be nice to have your esay sync server on your own server?
But the installation... How to deploy the webserver as an add-on for FritzBox or Synology DSM app? One could easily install it and have the same features.
Cheers
Bernhard1 voteWe have some plans for an on-premise solution of fruux in the future. Right now our focus is on our software as a service solution: We want to make it very easy to use fruux, thats why we are removing the pain of administration and updates for our users and run fruux as a service. It allows us to push fruux forward and release new features in an efficient very.

Control each device's access levels to contacts/calendar/tasks from within the Dashboard
For example, to share your calendar with multiple Fruux members (e.g. family and friends) and allow them to read and write to the calendar, without giving them access to your private contacts.
1 voteAlready possible. When you share a specific calendar with another user you can choose read-only or read-write permissions. If you don’t explicitly also share an addressbook, they won’t have access to the contacts.

Activation Notification top bar
Can you please make the notification top bar more prominent? I spent 5 minutes trying to set up my device, then I noticed I had to click the activation link in my email first.
Thanks!
1 voteYou are absolutely right. We’ve already started changing that in our development version. So the improved process will go live really soon.

Change this part of the instructions to set up on OSX
Import your Contacts into the fruux cloud:
Mark all contacts (Keyboard shortcut: CMD+A)
File → Export → Export vCard
File → Import → Import .vcf into the fruux Addressbook
DoneIt might be a bit confusing to some people because you did not specify that you need to switch address book users between exporting and importing
