publish multiple calendars together in one link
I like how you can publish calendars and such, but I would like to see more options in terms of publishing a group of calendars together. My mom works two jobs, and wants to put in each job as a different calendar, but share her entire work schedule with her husband, not just one at a time.

Improve Thunderbird integration using automatic addressbook data sync
The Sogo Connector add-on by Inverse works OK if I add contact info via Thunderbird locally. But, if I step out for lunch and add a contact using my phone, after lunch to refresh the email addressbook data in Thunderbird it is necessary to shut down the app and relaunch it. Perhaps fruux could work with Inverse to make this data update happen automatically. Or, if not, at least have them put a button in the Thunderbird Add-on Manager so addressbook data can be resynced manually.

add shared calendar alerts
Whenever somebody makes a change to a shared calendar, the other subscribers/the owner of the calendar should be informed via a "shared calendar alert". Apple offers this very valuable feature on iCloud for both Mac OS X and iOS.
10 votesWe’re interested in supporting this and in fact we already support some bits and pieces of this notification functionality (e.g. when someone invites you into a calendar), but unfortunately this is not a standard yet (it’s an Apple extension: https://github.com/fruux/sabre-dav/blob/master/docs/caldav-notifications.txt).
These change-notifications don’t seem to be supported for third parties at the moment.
We’ll keep an eye on this as Apple releases newer versions of its operating systems (iOS7/OS X Mavericks).

Add support for syncing Outlook 2016 Mac calendar
Please - can you do something so that when a user accepts a meeting invitation in Outlook on their Mac it gets added to their Fruux calendar? If Microsoft won't play nice with others, maybe others can play nice with Microsoft? We are a small organization, all on Macs, no exchange server.

Downloadable standalone version for Windows
Having fruux running as a separate program/app. Fruux could run in the background and complement the browser instead of having to use the web interface.

Resource Scheduler
One thing that my company needs a lot is a basic resource scheduler.
Rooms, laptops, vehicles...If someone wants to reserve a vehicle, a laptop, and a room, then they must individually refer to three calendars, and then update those three calendars. A resource schedule would be great because then we could create event, select the resources, and done.10 votes -
Custom Contact Labels
Thank you for adding Contacts web app!
However, unlike in Google and iCloud, it is not possible to create custom labels for entries (phone numbers and email addresses), such as "mobile LB" for the Lebanese Mobile number, "mobile UK" for the UK Mobile number or mobile 1, mobile 2 to set priorities for your contacts' entries, it is only possible to choose between the standard Mobile, Home, Other, ... labels

I don't like Google Agenda but their agenda grid works well and if you reproduce the same on fruux i'll go premium !

Smart input on date & time fields
I would like the dat & time fields to allow for smarter input processing. At this time input restrictions are quite tight and formal.
For instance:
Entering "14" in a time field should result in 14:00.
Entering "315" in a time field should result in 03:15.
Entering "100114" in a date field should result in 10/01/2014.
Entering "8" in a date field should result in 08/03/2015 (where March 2015 is the current month and year).There should be more freedom in de delimmiters used: "-", "/", " ", ":", etc shoud all be valid delimmiters.

Change month by scrolling
In the web calendar, allow users to change month by scrolling. It would be then faster to browse the calendar, when you do not need to click the small buttons.

Premium or beginner account tier
Hi team, I use the free account without any issues.
I would upgrade if there was a cheaper premium or beginner account tier for $1 per month. This could include say three or four devices and some other features.
I live in Australia and four euros is expensive per month for a calendar software.
Please consider.

Features comparison to Office 365
For a newby who just wants to escape the Microsoft world... can you please post an article that clearly describes the benefits of Fruux compared to Office 365 (and maybe other standard calendar sharing services). Can I replace the Office 365 calendars in a team environment?

Include an option to have tasks included in the daily calendar email
The new daily calendar email is a good idea. it is quite difficult at present to get a printed listing of tasks . An option to have them sent by email would be useful

Restore Backup
Like with iCloud Calendars (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205018) it would be useful to restore backups of calendar (and maybe other services) server-sided. I mean, you promote fruux also as a backup service to the calendar.

Undo completed task
Include a small Undo button (maybe next to the task filter?)
When accidentally checking off a task as complete, this will allow the user to step back rather than having to go to filter completed tasks and unchecking from there.

7 votesfruux is based on open standards. We’re supporting CardDAV for contact and CalDAV for calendar and tasks synchronization.
Unfortunately no widely supported open standard for “notes” yet. Once there is one, we’d be interested in implementing it.
Another possibility would be to take a look at the VJOURNAL standard (which is not widely supported either though).

Select current contact, copy it and revise name. This is a contact from same company. No need to enter all the information, only name & title.
